Special Holiday LazyMan
aka "Holidazy" or the "MiniMan"
For this extra special Holiday Lazy, we’re shortening the time to complete your goals (it’s for 4 weeks rather than 6) therefore the minimum goals themselves are smaller. It’s really all about keeping things going over the last two weeks of December and into the new year. The next full Lazyman Triathlon (with medals and all!) won’t be until February, so join in the fun now!
The numbers:
- 4 weeks.
- 17.5 miles of running/walking/elliptical/stairs. 1.5 hours of yoga equals 5 miles run. This minimum goal is a little over 4 miles per week.
- 74.7 miles of biking. An hour long spinning class equals 15 miles biked. This minimum goal is a little over 18 miles per week.
- 1.7 miles of swimming. This minimum goal is not even a half mile per week.
As stated above, you are welcome to eliminate the swimming by doubling the run portion to 35, and you are welcome to eliminate the running portion by doubling the swim to 3.4. The biking, however, cannot be eliminated (sorry!) You are also welcome to configure any kind of goals you want by quadrupling things, as long as the minimums are met for a single Lazyman, or for a double run/double swim Lazyman.
There won’t be medals for this go-around. There will, however, be a LazyWinner Dinner (where the Lazies who complete their goals are treated to a potluck by the Lazies who do not finish---loads of fun to be had at this thing). Out of town contingent welcomed and encouraged to participate!
